For external use only. This product is for the body only and should not be used on the face. If it comes into contact with the eyes or swallowed, contact your doctor and show product labelling. This product is not tested on animals and it does NOT contain PPD. Despite being a 100% natural product, it is not suitable for everyone. Use at your own risk. With any natural product there is a risk of allergic reaction. Blue Leaf B.V. cannot guarantee you will not have an allergic reaction to our products. Always test on a small patch of skin before attempting a larger design. We discourage the use of Blue Leaf B.V. products in case of fruit allergies, sensitive skin, eczema, G6PD and/or similar conditions. It is recommended to consult your doctor before using any dye in any way and always consult a medical professional if allergic reactions occur. Removing the stain from the skin takes time. Speed up the natural fading process by repeatedly washing the area with (salty, warm) water & gently rubbing dry. Please note that this will take time; do NOT scratch and/or damage the skin! Keep out of the reach of small children. We recommend adult supervision with children under the age of 18. Artists should always inform the client of the fruit base of Blue Leaf B.V. products and the information provided in this document.

Recommendations for applying to the skin - When applied to the skin, leave on for at least 2.5 hours, Blue Leaf B.V. Genipa Americana based products react to naturally occurring ammonia acids that naturally occur in the skin. This reaction will dye the epidermis dark blue / black within 12 – 24 hours. The stain gradually fades in the subsequent 10 – 20 days as the skin regenerates. WE RECOMMEND TO USE JAGUAHENNA GEL - OR TO PROCESS GENIPA AMERICANA L. POWDERED EXTRACT INTO A PASTE OR GEL - TO ENSURE EASY APPLICATION AND A DARK STAIN. Please note that the stain intensity and / or colour of the stain will differ per formula, person, and per application method. We cannot ensure a dark stain and / or detailed application due to the individual user’s skin characteristics, the location of dyeing, and since we can neither anticipate nor control the different conditions under which the products are used. The dye will darken at different speeds due to the amount of ammonia acids your skin contains. This is why we cannot guarantee the length or the darkness of the stain; the duration and intensity of the stain is subject to an individual’s ammonia acid level and the time an individual’s skin will regenerate. Please visit the Frequently Asked Questions section for more specific instructions, tips and tricks.
