Create your own Jagua paste exactly the way you like it. Our pure Jagua Powder is made from Genipa Americana fruit that’s carefully harvested, dried, and ground into a fine powder. Mix it with water, essential oil, and xanthan gum to create a paste that delivers a deep dark blue to black stain lasting up to two weeks.

The 100g size is ideal for artists who want control over their paste consistency or those working on larger projects. You can also blend Jagua Powder with henna to create “hengua” paste for beautiful dark brown to black tones, depending on your preferred ratio.

Natural and Cosmetic compliant

Jagua is extracted from the Genipa Americana fruit, traditionally used by Amazonian tribes for body art. Unlike henna’s reddish tones, Jagua delivers a deep dark blue to black color that looks remarkably like ink. This natural product is cosmetic compliant (EC1223/2009), valued for its fine, consistent texture, and trusted by over 10,000 artists worldwide.

Jagua powder has a shelf life up to 1 year. We ship products with a minimum of 6 months remaining. The product’s quality can be maintained by storing in the freezer.
